Store Policy


Once you’ve filled your shopping cart with your favorite pieces, you can proceed to checkout by tapping the Cart tab. From here, you’ll see a list of the items in your pending order, along with a breakdown of the total cost.

By tapping “Go to Checkout” you’ll be prompted to provide your choice of payment information and confirm your shipping information. After this, you’ll tap “Place Your Order” to submit your final order request. Once you have received your confirmation email, you can make an EFT, click on the "PAY" button to pay by Credit Card or PayPal, or scan the Zapper QR-code.


There are 2 payment options available:

Note: Please use your order number as reference!


The Dress Shop processes orders as quickly as possible, which means we may not be able to cancel your order before it is labeled and shipped. We can assist with any requests to cancel an order before you receive your shipping confirmation. If you'd like to cancel your order, please contact us with your order number as soon as possible!


1. Orders shipped within Kwazulu-Natal

The Courier Guy: 2 - 3 business days

  • Flat rate of ZAR65.00

2. Orders shipped within South Africa

The Courier Guy: 3 -4 business days

  • Flat rate of ZAR99.00

PAXI (Pep to Pep Store): 7 -9 business days

  • Flat rate of ZAR59.00

3. Collection in Durban North

Orders can be collected free of charge from our offices in Durban North. Contact us to make an appointment for collection. 

Return & Refund

Unfortunately The Dress Shop does not accept any returns or refunds. Due to our clothing items being sold on a consignment basis, the previous owners will receive their payout once the items have been sold.

Selling your clothing items

Once your items is received in our offices, you will get an email notification letting you know when you can expect your dress to be featured online on our platforms. 

Once your dress is sold, we will notify you and you will get paid out within 5 working days.

Unacceptable clothing items

The Dress Shop has high quality standards. Items that don't look like the photos you've sent us and don't meet our standards will not be featured. Unless you would like to collect them from our offices within 30 days, they will be donated to our local charity. 

No Guaranteed Sale

We can not guarantee the sale of your items, nor give you a time frame. This depends on the popularity of your items.

If the item does not sell within its selling time frame of 90 days, you will have an additional 14 days to collect your item. If you do not reclaim your item within this period, it will be donated to our local partner charity, Nomcebo's Secondhand Shop.
